Info or Ordering?
TDKK has had, since a while, the idea to develop a replacement LED for use in older microscope models, like from Zeiss, Olympus, Nikon, Leitz, etc.
These microscopes are often of excelent quality, though old, they are by long not written off.
most of these devices are still in professional use, or in the labs of semi professionals and hobbyists.
Why LED?, problem with halogen light is the yellow coloration in the image.
With the older incandescent bulbs the coloration is even worse.
Naturaly this can be improved..............
Older microscope
As a replacement for the glas lamp, this is a 6 V-5A lamp
TDKK first made a prototype (to do some testing and adjustments) in LED.
Results: more light, white light, no heat, fully adjustable, low power consumption etc.

Electronic regulator
Special Collar?
Design info of this new LED was sent by TDKK to America where the LED was going to be produced. Due to technical problems the manufacturer could not deliver.
This means that the production is still at the TDKK workshop
TDKK made modells can be ordered right now and cost Euro 60,= per LED (E14 or B15)
Your microscope powersupply has to be adapted for use with LED.
Better still, can be replaced by a TDKK made Electronic supply-regulator.check here
Be shure and contact TDKK first.
Do'nt throw away the old bulb yet, often there is a, brand and model specific, collar fitted around the base ot the bulb, this collar needs to be refitted around the base of the LED. (this will be done by TDKK)
TDKK has made several powersupply- regulator with wich the LED is step less adjustable.
This is, as you can see, a very small and very light weight powersupply- regulator set.
